Quit It.
Okay. I need to relax. Seriously.I just need to remember the fact that
I was not born to please everyone around me.
I need to quit thinking of what other people think of me.
I have to quit pessimism.
I need to be myself.
Have You?

Has there been a certain point in your life where in you feel so unsure of yourself? Have you ever felt like you were just a flower stuck on the wall all your life? Have you ever felt so desperate because you want to change yourself to become a better person but...you can't?
A Little Get Together.
I haven't touched my blog for around 10 days already. Just a quick run through of what happened during this week. Last Tuesday (June 9), our classes started already despite of the A(H1N1) scare. I think we are the only school in Katipunan that are having classes. ADMU and UP, our neighbor schools in Katipunan, postponed their classes due to A(H1N1).
So yea, I'm officially a college student already. So far, things are going fine. What I like about college is that we have longer breaks and we don't have classes on Mondays. My favorite schedule would be Wednesdays and Fridays because my class starts at 10:30 am. Haha. Plus, the subjects are light.
Anyway, we didn't have classes yesterday since it was Independence Day. So yea, it's a holiday for all of us. My friend/former seatmate in high school, Giana, celebrated her 18th birthday then. It served as a reunion for me and my high school friends. God! I missed them so much! I know it's only been around 2 months and a half or so but that's quite long enough for us. Well, consider the fact that we will all be going to different colleges/universities. We won't be seeing much of one another then.
Moving on, the birthday party was a blast! I partied like I never partied before! HAHA. And no, I don't mean it in a
negative way,
if you know what I mean.
Well, I won't be going on further details. I'll be posting some pictures instead. Pictures paint a thousand words, right?
Oh and by the way, before I post them, I just want you all to know that I don't own the pictures. It's from my friend, Trisha. I didn't have my camera with me yet.
So, anyway, here it goes. :D

The Birthday Girl...on the screen. Haha.

I Won't Mind. Just Let Me Know.
So, okay. I first learned about this site called
Wattpad from an online buddy who also writes at Creative Corner at Teentalk. Creative Corner is a board where teentalkers post their stories that are originally written by themselves. Earlier this afternoon, I read from my friend's story thread that her story was published at
Wattpad without her permission; although her username was retained there for acknowledgement. She said that she's not mad at that person but it would have been better if he/she asked her permission first.

When I searched
Wattpad, I saw other Creative Corner stories posted there. I don't know if they were posted with the consent of the author too. I got pretty surprised that one of my stories was also posted there. (
Click on the pictures above for a clearer view). I'm not angry at that person for doing that. I won't really mind. However, asking for my consent first wouldn't really hurt, right? I mean, if she was a teentalker, she could have given me a notice through a private message.
I know I'm not a professional writer but I still have the rights for my own work, right? Well, I'm really thankful that at least she didn't remove my username. :)
I may not have the best story written but really, asking for a person's permission is very important. It's like asking one's permission when you borrow his/her stuff.
Anyway, to summarize it, I won't mind if my online written works are posted elsewhere as long as:
1. I am credited for itand
2. It has my consent. =)
And The Heat of Summer Sunshine is Gone.

It's the rainy season once again.
Goodbye, summer!
See you again after 9 months.
*sighs* 8 days to go before school starts.
Hooray College! =P

So Close.
So yesterday was the
BIG DAY I've been waiting for. My family and I went to Mall of Asia to
supposedly watch David Cook and David Archuleta's concert. We were supposed to get tickets but my dad changed his mind since he finds it too expensive especially when he saw
Titanium's price. =))
The seating prices are as follows (
actually, these are just my estimations except for Silver cos I was very sure with its price):
Titanium= P12,000+, Platinum= P6000+, VIP= P3000+, Gold= P2000+, Silver= P615 and Bronze= P300+
We were rooting for
Silver but we just realized that we would barely see the stage. Plus, we would just be standing then since there are no chairs for
Silver and
Bronze. We are 6 in the family so that's all we could afford. Well, let's also consider the fact that my dad is a stingy person. LOL. If only I alone would watch, I would get the VIP or the most expensive ticket. =))
Hmm... Actually, I could have asked for it as my birthday/graduation gift instead of having a debut. :|
Dang! Why didn't I think of that before?!God. I wish I knew better that time.
So, anyway, we just decided to stay outside. Luckily enough, it was an open ground so we could hear them very loud and clear. It could also be heard at the parking near the bay. That's where we parked our van. When I got out, I think it just started. David Archuleta was singing
Touch My Hand. So I think that's the advantage of having a concert at MOA open grounds. At least you can hear them but you won't see them, of course. Haha. However, I think we were lucky enough to see them performing through the LCD screen.
Hearing them perform live was enough for me
...for now. They actually sound better when they sing live. And I loved it when they spoke Filipino words! Haha. While we were walking, I heard David Archuleta say "
Mabuhay Manila!". Then when he was finished with his set, he said "
Mahal ko kayo!" I think he also said "
Salamat Po!" As for David Cook, he said "
Magandang gabi!". Not bad! Haha. Unfortunately, we didn't finish the show. We left while Cook was singing
Avalanche. My dad was also looking forward for the Davids' duet but it turns out that it was their last performance. As they say,
save the best for last.
I wish they'll come back here again and if that happens, I hope that they'll perform at Araneta Coliseum during that time.
And if that's during summer, I'll ask for the concert ticket as my birthday gift! Hahaha! =))
