When Life Brings the Unexpected Things
Hello World! It's been quite awhile once again. I have been really busy with school lately.
Christmas season is around the air. Christmas lights and decorations are all over the houses and streets. The air is somehow cool during the day and night. People are busy shopping for Christmas gifts. Yes, it's just 13 days left before Christmas.
I do feel excited but sometimes I feel the "excitement" fading away.
Whenever I watch the news, I usually hear...bad stuff. Well, there are also some good news but sadly, there are still more bad news.
I don't know why I am saying this. Maybe I still could not get over the fact that Marky Cielo is dead already. Read on this article from PEP if you are not familiar with what I am saying and if you are curious/interested to know about this, whoever you are reading this blog.
He was a product of this reality-TV talent show in GMA 7 called "Starstruck". He won the title of Ultimate Survivor and Sole Survivor during "Starstruck 3". He was one of the young actors from the said network. He was at the peak of his career but then he suddenly died last Sunday, December 7, 2008. Sadly, he died on the same day Manny Pacquiao won against Oscar de la Hoya.
I know it's been like 5 days ago but I just want to say something about it. I liked the guy and...I was sort of a fan I guess, since I had a crush on him before. I really admired him.
That is why when I heard of the news, it really shocked me. I really couldn't believe it. For Pete's sake, he was only 20 years old! It was so...fast! 2 years ago, I was really crushing on him. I really admire him a lot because he was a great actor, a great dancer and he seems very nice because of his "angelic" face. Also, I have never heard of any dirty rumors against him. The best thing that I liked about him was him being humble despite of his rising fame to stardom.
I know I am not closely related to him or whatever. I am just an ordinary teenager who lives... a simple life and does what an ordinary teen does; but you guys might find it strange that I am greatly affected for what happened to Marky. :( Seriously. I still can't accept the fact that he is gone forever. I am not going to see him on TV (except for file videos) and onscreen ever again. Really, his death is devastating. It reminded me of my friend's death which happened 2 years ago. It was very sudden too. She was also very young.
Anyway, Marky is a big loss to the showbiz industry. He could have done a lot more things. He would have gotten more famous too. He's very talented. As I have also mentioned above, I think he is one of the best young actors during these times. He is a clean guy. He does not have any vices and I've never heard of anything negative about him.
*sighs* Sayang talaga.
Marky's cause of death is still unknown. There are a lot of speculations but I don't really want to assume on something that is not yet confirmed. Poor guy.:( I also hope that the "nasty" rumors about the cause of his death would stop too.
Whatever his cause of death is, I hope he rests in peace.

I remember when Rico Yan died, similar how Marky died, and I felt so sad. So affected. Haha! May crush din ako noon kay Rico Yan, just like you had a crush on Marky.
Super sad to see good people die at a young age.
Aww. Sayang din si Rico Yan! Sadly, he died on my birthday. He was one of my favorite actors when I was younger. I liked his tandem with Claudine. I remember I even watch "Mula Sa Puso" before.
I know! Sobrang nakaka-shock. Ang hirap mag-sink in. I remember the exact feeling when one of my best friends died 2 years ago. It's like history repeated itself.
Grabe. Sobrang affected din ako noh? Hehe.
Pero okay lang yan. Time will pass and I'm sure makaka-move on din tayo.
Rest in peace, Marky!
