So Close.
So yesterday was the BIG DAY I've been waiting for. My family and I went to Mall of Asia to supposedly watch David Cook and David Archuleta's concert. We were supposed to get tickets but my dad changed his mind since he finds it too expensive especially when he saw Titanium's price. =))
The seating prices are as follows (actually, these are just my estimations except for Silver cos I was very sure with its price):
Titanium= P12,000+, Platinum= P6000+, VIP= P3000+, Gold= P2000+, Silver= P615 and Bronze= P300+
We were rooting for Silver but we just realized that we would barely see the stage. Plus, we would just be standing then since there are no chairs for Silver and Bronze. We are 6 in the family so that's all we could afford. Well, let's also consider the fact that my dad is a stingy person. LOL. If only I alone would watch, I would get the VIP or the most expensive ticket. =)) Hmm... Actually, I could have asked for it as my birthday/graduation gift instead of having a debut. :| Dang! Why didn't I think of that before?!
God. I wish I knew better that time.
So, anyway, we just decided to stay outside. Luckily enough, it was an open ground so we could hear them very loud and clear. It could also be heard at the parking near the bay. That's where we parked our van. When I got out, I think it just started. David Archuleta was singing Touch My Hand. So I think that's the advantage of having a concert at MOA open grounds. At least you can hear them but you won't see them, of course. Haha. However, I think we were lucky enough to see them performing through the LCD screen.
Hearing them perform live was enough for me...for now. They actually sound better when they sing live. And I loved it when they spoke Filipino words! Haha. While we were walking, I heard David Archuleta say "Mabuhay Manila!". Then when he was finished with his set, he said "Mahal ko kayo!" I think he also said "Salamat Po!" As for David Cook, he said "Magandang gabi!". Not bad! Haha. Unfortunately, we didn't finish the show. We left while Cook was singing Avalanche. My dad was also looking forward for the Davids' duet but it turns out that it was their last performance. As they say, save the best for last.
I wish they'll come back here again and if that happens, I hope that they'll perform at Araneta Coliseum during that time.
And if that's during summer, I'll ask for the concert ticket as my birthday gift! Hahaha! =))
